Like many Floridians, Neal Jacobs moved to Florida seeking a warmer climate and sunnier days. He was born and raised in coastal Maine. Naturally, Neal became a rugged outdoorsman, hunter, and sport-fishing enthusiast. And perhaps just as unsurprisingly, he soaked up a Downeast “can-do” spirit.After he arrived in Florida in the 1990’s, Neal saw the need for a reliable, independent gas contractor to serve the homeowners and builders of the Gulf Coast.
His company, Jacobs Gas, quickly became a respected and essential part of the Southwest Florida gas industry—a dependable source for quality installations and service.
Neal has the earnest civic pride of those who moved to Florida from up north and call the Gulf Coast their home today. He regularly presents training and safety classes for product suppliers, manufacturers, and other gas providers. He has also organized fire-prevention training schools for local fire departments. Neal is proud to be a part of our Southwest Florida community.
